You're Engaged!


Congratulations!! You have a sparkly new ring on your finger and a lot of planning ahead of you! Picking a date, choosing a venue, and booking your dream photographer (wink, wink!) have all been checked off your to-do list and you're ready to commemorate this special time in your life with an engagement session!


Engagement sessions are so much fun! They're a great way to get to know your photographer and become comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day! Plus, you can use your engagement photos for save the dates, wedding invitations, your wedding website, your guest book, decorations at your venue, and more!


But now you may be wondering, "where should we go to take our engagement photos?". Lucky for you, I have 5 tips for you to help you find the perfect engagement session location! Let's get right into it!

1. Meaningful Place


Is there a place that holds meaning and memories for you as a couple? Heading back to a sentimental spot can help stir up emotions and create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourselves in front of my camera.


Here are some meaningful location ideas: where you first met, your hometown, or your proposal location!

Are you an adventurous couple? Heading to a place you've always wanted to go together but have never been before is a fun and exciting location choice for your engagement session! Let's go adventure and capture the two of you making new memories!

I'll let you in on a little secret... I have certain locations that I don't share with anyone else! Scouting locations is a part of my job and I have some gems hidden up my sleeve! If you're stuck and just need a recommendation, I'll gladly do the work for you and choose a location that fits your vibe.
